OTS 40 (Pulse): live locker management through Ojmar Cloud

Stand-alone locker locks work well, but the facility team only knows what is happening at a locker by walking up to it. The Ojmar OTS 40 (Pulse) changes that by connecting the lockers to Ojmar Cloud.

What it does

The OTS 40 (Pulse) brings online locker management to a facility:

  • Live occupancy, so staff can see which lockers are in use
  • Reports on how lockers are used
  • Remote opening when someone needs help
  • Locker booking through the app

How users open

RFID, NFC and Bluetooth are all supported, with HID and Apple Wallet credentials. Staff and members can use a card, their phone or their phone's wallet.

How it connects

The locks connect through a compact wireless gateway. There is no data or power cabling to run to the lockers. If the network drops, the locks keep working offline.

Batteries

Up to 8 years on 4 AA batteries.

Where it suits

  • Hybrid offices and smart workplaces
  • End-of-trip facilities
  • Premium gyms and clubs
  • Universities

Why it matters

Facility teams spend less time walking the floor to check lockers or open them for users. Workplace teams get data on how many lockers are actually used, which helps when planning space. Users can book a locker before they arrive.
