OTS 40 Batteryless: the first human-powered smart locker lock

Smart lockers have usually meant a trade-off: connected features, but more batteries to manage, or cabling to every locker. The Ojmar OTS 40 Batteryless removes that trade-off.

What it is

The OTS 40 Batteryless is the first human-powered smart locker lock. It is battery-free, like the OTS 20 Batteryless, and connected to Ojmar Cloud for real-time status and remote management.

Key features

  • Opens with RFID cards, fobs and smartphones
  • Ojmar Cloud, with open APIs and an SDK
  • No batteries to replace
  • No power or data cabling at the locker

Integration

The open APIs and SDK let the lockers work with workplace apps, building management platforms and membership systems, so locker status and access can sit alongside the rest of the building's technology.

Where it suits

  • Hybrid offices
  • End-of-trip facilities
  • Premium fitness clubs
  • Wellness centres
  • Buildings with sustainability targets

Batteryless or Pulse?

Both connect to Ojmar Cloud. The OTS 40 (Pulse) runs on batteries (up to 8 years on 4 AA) and supports HID and Apple Wallet. The OTS 40 Batteryless needs no batteries at all. We can help you compare them against your access system and sustainability goals.
