OMS Hasp: the simplest way to secure shared lockers
Not every locker needs electronics. In many change rooms, schools, pools and sporting clubs, users are happy to bring their own padlock, and the facility simply needs a strong, tidy way to take it. That is the job of the Ojmar OMS Hasp.
What it is
The OMS Hasp is a heavy-duty padlock hasp for lockers. It takes keyed or combination padlocks with an 8 mm shackle, and Ojmar's patented anti-rotation system keeps the hasp secure on the door.
It is built to resist humidity and salt, which matters in aquatic centres, beachside clubs and any change room with showers nearby.
Fitting options
- Screw fixing for timber doors
- Nut fixing for metal doors
- Left or right hand
- Chrome finish
Why facilities choose a hasp
A hasp asks almost nothing of the facility team. There are no keys to issue, no codes to reset and no batteries to change. Users look after their own padlock, and the locker is free again as soon as they take it away.
That makes it a sensible choice for:
- Gyms and change rooms with day-use lockers
- Schools and universities
- Aquatic and leisure centres
- Sporting clubs and community facilities
When to step up
If users forget their padlock, or the facility wants to control access, the next step is usually a combination lock such as the OMS Combi, or a keypad or RFID lock. Because Ojmar locks are self-contained at the door, that change can usually happen on the same lockers later.
Supply and installation
Locksmart Australia supplies and installs the OMS Hasp across Australia and New Zealand, for new lockers and as a straight swap on existing doors. The datasheet is on the OMS Hasp page.
