A guide to the Ojmar locker lock range, from padlock hasp to human-powered smart lock

Ojmar has been making locks in the Basque Country of Spain for more than 100 years. Its locker locks now run in gyms, offices, end-of-trip facilities, schools, spas and change rooms around the world, and Locksmart Australia has supplied, installed and serviced them here for more than eight years.

The range is broad, which is useful, but it can make the first conversation harder. This guide runs through the locks we carry from the simplest to the most advanced, and the kind of facility each one suits.

Mechanical locks: no batteries, no electronics

OMS Hasp. Users bring their own keyed or combination padlock. It is the lowest-cost way to secure shared lockers and is built to resist humidity and salt.

UNO. Keyed locks for office furniture built around one interchangeable cylinder, so desks, pedestals, cabinets and storage walls can share a master key system.

OMS 8002. A 4-digit combination camlock for cabinets, pedestals and lockers. Users set their own code, so there are no keys to issue.

OMS Combi. A 4-digit mechanical combination locker lock with an integrated handle, IP65 rated for wet or dry areas, in shared or personal mode.

Keypad locks

OGS 10. A compact electronic keypad camlock that replaces existing mechanical camlocks without changes to the doors or furniture.

OCS 30 (Smart). A touch keypad locker lock that can also open by smartphone over Bluetooth, with shared, personal and rental use. It replaces the earlier OCS Pro and OCS Smart, with the same footprint.

RFID locks

OTS 10 (Basic). RFID access for shared, day-use lockers, using MIFARE cards, wristbands or fobs.

OTS 20 (Advance). Ojmar's leading RFID locker lock, installed in over 1,000 facilities worldwide. One lock handles shared and personal lockers and reads a wide range of credentials.

Connected and human-powered locks

OTS 40 (Pulse). Online locker management through Ojmar Cloud, with live occupancy, reports, remote opening and locker booking.

OTS 20 Batteryless. The first batteryless electronic locker lock. It is human-powered: closing the locker generates the energy the lock needs.

OTS 40 Batteryless. The first human-powered smart locker lock, connected to Ojmar Cloud for real-time status and remote management.

What every lock has in common

Every Ojmar lock we supply is wireless at the door. There are no power supplies, backup power or cabling to install, so a new fit-out has no electrical works for the lockers, and an existing facility can usually change locks on the doors it already has.

Choosing the right one

The right lock depends on who uses the lockers, how long they keep them, what they already carry (a key, a code, a card or a phone), whether the area is wet, and how much the facility team wants to see and manage. We are happy to talk that through for one bank of lockers or a national network.
