OCS to OCS 30: a same-footprint swap-over for earlier Ojmar keypad locks
Many gyms, offices and change rooms across Australia still run earlier Ojmar OCS keypad locks, including the OCS Pro and OCS Smart. The new Ojmar OCS 30 has been built as their upgrade, and it has the same footprint.
What same footprint means for you
The OCS 30 goes straight onto the existing locker doors. There are no new doors, no new joinery, no cabling and no electrical works. The lockers stay where they are, and the change happens one door at a time.
What changes
Almost everything else.
- A sleek new design with a flat touch keypad
- Bluetooth access, so users can open with a code, their phone, or both
- Automatic openings at set times, so day-use lockers are free again each morning
- Rental periods for paid lockers, set per lock in 15-minute intervals
- A red, amber and green status light
- Management through Ojmar's Management & Service app
Robust, without compromising design
The OCS 30 is rated IK09 and IP55. The electronics, batteries and locking mechanism all sit inside the locker. It runs up to 5 years on 4 AA batteries with a low-battery warning, keeps its configuration through a battery change, and has front-side emergency power.
Finishes
Graphite, silver or white, so an upgrade can match a change room or office refurbishment. One version fits both left and right opening doors up to 24 mm.
Why now
Earlier OCS locks have served Australian facilities well. The OCS 30 gives the same lockers current technology and a new look, and adds phone access and modes that the earlier locks did not have. For many facilities it is the simplest change-room refresh available.
